ABOUT DOTAN SHENHAV

Thanks for visiting my LinkedIn page! I wanted to tell you a bit about myself and how I found my way to becoming a Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant. I live and work in Toronto. I am a father of three young kids; a daughter and twin boys. 23 years ago, I decided to move to Canada and went through the Immigration process myself. First, I was an international student at Concordia University, then I was a foreign worker, from that I transitioned into permanent residency and finally, in 2011, I became a Canadian Citizen. I still remember the feelings I experienced throughout the process: Keeping up with my status, making sure I met the requirements, submitting everything on time. Above all, the feeling of uncertainty and the wait time (which was much longer nearly 20 years ago.) were overwhelming. Building a career and raising a family in a new place through the process are unique and challenging experiences only immigrants can really understand. Over the years, I found myself helping colleagues and friends with their Canadian Immigration cases. I discovered how Immigration Law was a unique field through which I could help people change their lives and make their dreams come true. My success as an Immigration Consultant became the success of so many people; so I decided to make a career out of it – and I love it! As a Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Canadian Immigration field. For 20 years, I have worked for International Immigration firms in Canada and worldwide. I also worked with the Federal Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Having worked on both, the client’s side and the government side, I\'ve had the unique perspective and insight into the process that benefits our clients.
