About Doryn Wallach
I am a former entrepreneur and fine jewelry designer, podcast host of a podcast focused on women in midlife, and now a dedicated art therapy graduate student. I am deeply passionate about the intersection of creativity and women\'s physical and mental health. My ongoing journey, highlighted by internships at Art Therapy Lab and Mountainside Treatment Center, allows me to explore the profound impact creativity can have on healing and personal growth. My approach embraces not only the clinical aspects of art therapy but also its application in mindfulness, positivity, and overall wellness. I am particularly interested in using art as a powerful advocacy tool to erase stigma and enhance understanding of women\'s mental health issues. I am also a CASAC-T and have an interest in how creativity is used with women in recovery. My goal is to empower individuals through artistic expression, supporting them in their pursuit of emotional resilience and mental well-being. I welcome the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and organizations who are committed to advancing the field of women\'s mental health and creativity.
