About Dory Lord
Most of my work has been about figuring out how to bring complex technology to market.I work across Law Insider and SimpleDocs, leading go-to-market strategy and product marketing for AI tools used in contract review. A big part of the challenge is helping professionals adopt new technology inside workflows that have looked the same for years, so a lot of my focus is on launches, positioning, and building the systems that actually drive product adoption.At the same time, I’m a co-founder of CounselPro, a bootstrapped startup that enables legal professionals to analyze complex financial data using AI through a product-led model.The problems I enjoy most sit somewhere between product, marketing, and revenue. Especially in markets where the technology is moving quickly but the workflows around it haven’t caught up yet.Things I spend a lot of time thinking about:• go-to-market strategy• product marketing and launches• product-led growth• lifecycle systems• category narrative and positioning
