ABOUT DORUK GÜNDEM

I am a finance student at Northeastern University, expected to graduate in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I have a passion for accounting consulting, as demonstrated by my six-month internship at EY, where I worked on an SAP and inflation accounting project. I am also the Co-Founder and Co-President of Turkish Student Association at Northeastern University, and was previously a Treasury and Executive Board Member at Turkish Student Association Global.As an EY consultant, I gained valuable skills in business analysis, Microsoft PowerPoint, and client communication, as well as exposure to different industries and markets. I created more than 20 proposal presentations, generated training material, and prepared weekly reports for the client team. I also worked in establishing an SAP foundation for IAS 29 reporting for the hyperinflationary economies of Turkey and Argentina for a pharmaceutical company. As a co-founder and co-president of Turkish Student Association at Northeastern University, I aim to foster a sense of community and belonging among Turkish students and professionals, as well as to promote Turkish culture, history, and current events to the wider audience. I organize events, partnerships, and network opportunities, as well as connect with Turkish professors and alumni. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to any team, as well as a strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a cultural awareness.
