As Senior Program Director, I am responsible for the performance, maintenance, and development of the program. I work very closely with the LCCs and Regional Development Directors to support, train, and provide continuing education to all regional staff, specifically the Local Childcare Coordinators. To learn more about hosting an au pair (the best think you can ever do) please check was born and raised in Denmark and attended Odense University in Denmark, where I received my degree in Business. I came to the U.S. as an au pair in 1991 and had a wonderful year with my host family and the four children that I cared for in Chicago. I have been married to my husband, Ron, for 16 years we are blessed with 2 wonderful boys, Karsten (13), and Torben (6). I love spending time with my three guys, scrap-booking, making jewelry, and in the summer you will find the Strobels camping and taking as many road trips in our RV as time will allowI am also on board of the Danish America American Club (DAAC) Currently the DAAC offers Danish language classes, gymnastics classes for children and children\'s folk dance instruction.
