Oversee manufacturing of industrial equipment including quality control, inventory management, budgets, production schedules, and personnel. Production required machining, assembly, disassembly, reverse engineering, and re-engineering for quality improvement.Perform employee management for all employees including hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations.Ensure production schedules are met by prioritizing the tasks of personnel and use of production equipment. Secure raw materials and production parts to maintain sufficient inventory levels at all times.Review product variances and investigate the causes of discrepancies. Develop and implement workflow processes and SOPs to guarantee products meet the highest level of quality and continue to be cost effective.Evaluate opportunities to acquire new and cutting-edge capital equipment and potential ROI. Purchased CNC mill machine, CNC lathe machine, and other equipment which increased production capabilities and employee efficiency. Cross train staff on processes and equipment to improve personnel scheduling, promote employee satisfaction and mitigate risk of personnel shortage. Identified and secured new production facility which offered reduced costs through government incentive programs and an abundant workforce. Production was also expanded at the new location. Develop maintenance programs for all company assets. Hold monthly health and safety meetings to reduce reportable OSHA incidents and near misses.Spearheaded comprehensive client M&R cost savings program which resulted in over $1M in savings in one year. Program included: improved inventory management, production line transfer from one facility to another, equipment retrofitting, and vendor management. Coordinated implementation with client management and production personnel.
