ABOUT DOROTA WASIK

I am a Chartered Accountant, former auditor, and certified mindfulness teacher. I have spent years working in high-pressure corporate environments where performance, speed, and responsibility are expected as standard. For a long time, I operated in constant urgency. I was building my career, completing professional qualifications, raising a family, and managing everything without stopping. From the outside, it looked like I had everything under control. Internally, it felt very different. I was always switched on, tense, and unable to fully switch off, even when nothing urgent was happening. Slowing down felt uncomfortable, and I believed this was what being driven and successful required. What changed everything for me was understanding that this was not a time or discipline problem, but a pattern. I went on to train as a certified mindful meditation teacher, combining that with my corporate background to understand stress not as a vague concept, but as something practical, observable and trainable. Today, I work with ambitious women who are successful on the surface, but are caught in that same urgency pattern underneath it. Through my Regulated Success Method™, I help them recognise how urgency has become normal, understand how it is affecting their thinking and decision making, and build the ability to pause and respond rather than react. This is not about doing less or losing ambition. It is about stepping out of the urgency trap so you can think more clearly, make better decisions and lead more effectively. Because calm is not the opposite of ambition. It is what sharpens it.
