Logistics responsibilities- Overseeing web orders fulfilments- Ensure best route or shipment method to improve budget management by minimising logistics costs- Setting up and managing Third Party Logistics Provider (3PLs) to meet high profile client’s delivery deadline- Shipment of equipment from disguise’s supply chain Contract Manufacturing (CMs) companies- Forward and Reverse logistics of high valve products, and accessories to Trade Shows- Return of equipment from customers to disguise CMs or repair centres for repair and upgrades- Managing upgrades process- Managing out of warranty repairs- Verify shipment quality issues and works with 3PL on improvement plans- Manage assets location and stock taken at distribution hubs- Overseeing call dawns to manufacturers- Overseeing team training in processes, shipment, quotation, RMA’sOperation Management responsibilities- Ensure all orders are processed and shipped as quickly and efficiently as possible- Using experience with global logistics to pre-empt issues and problems with the global distribution including certification tariffs, duties and taxes- Ensure each order is seen through to completion- Taking ownership when a situation arises that needs special attention- Solution -focused when approaching difficult situation- Pre-empt issues with the global distributions of disguise products- Govern the sales-operations process to enforce process and procedure- Continuous analysis of shipping costs which was directly looped back in- Chair regular alignment stakeholder meetings between Operations, Sales and Finance teams- Maintain accurate asset tracking to ensure SalesForce information is up to date- Maintain accurate stock location management- Working closely with manufacturers to ensure on time delivery and feedback issues to account manager- Working closely with Global Head of Operation to review product forecast, highlighting potential stock shortage
