About Doris Hayes Gibson
Although poetry has always been dear to my heart, serious writing for me began in 2005, with hopes to heal the hurts of an abusive past. My first book, Heart Written - Breaking Free, is a 354-page book published in November, 2012. I chose to publish my book to help others who have suffered through abuse or just need to know there is hope in times of discouragement. Heart Written - Breaking Free is filled with uplifting poetry, quotes, and short stories written from my heart to touch others. It is available at all online bookstores worldwide and was also released in the Kindle edition in June, 2013. My second publication, Heart Written - Calling Me, made its debut in November, 2014. Two additional books are in their final stages of completion, and I am hopeful to introduce them to the public by late July, 2015. Update: My third and fourth books were published in August, 2015.
