ABOUT DORIAN MINORS

I\'m a brain and behaviour scientist who cares about the neural basis of intelligent behaviour; decision intelligence; leadership, community and human systems change; and wellbeing in the brain. I\'ve worked for over a decade as a researcher, educator and clinician, most recently at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. My six-year tenure in the Australian Defence Force, culminating as a Platoon Commander (Infantry) leading soldiers on and off the field, has shaped my perspective on leadership, team dynamics, and operational excellence. My research, teaching, and consultancy focus on how the brain shapes our rituals of thought, feeling, and action, how they can be improved, and how they break down. I\'ve worked with militaries, Unilever brands, Sainsbury\'s, and the Fashion Pact among others to develop their leadership teams through \'learn and solve\' interventions that target leadership culture, communication, and vision.Currently Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, in the Faculty of Leadership, Security, and Warfare after completing a Gates-funded PhD in brain science at the University of Cambridge. I also produce content related to the sciences of mind over at https://btr.mt.
