ABOUT DORIANA HASSELBALCH

I am a recent graduate of Chapman University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Economics. Growing up in a family of financial advisors, my passion for finance was inspired by my late father and grandpa, who instilled in me the value of helping others achieve financial security and independence. During my time at Chapman, I engaged in hands-on financial projects that allowed me to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. I managed a virtual investment portfolio, achieving returns above major market indices by combining in-depth analysis of financial statements and company data with close monitoring of market trends and current events. As part of a selective Portfolio Management course, I conducted economic and sector forecasts, stock pitches, and asset class analyses. These projects enhanced my analytical, collaborative, and presentation skills. Beyond academics, I value building meaningful relationships and empowering others. My work experience, including client-facing roles in retail, taught me the importance of understanding individual needs, and delivering tailored solutions. Traveling across Europe after graduation further enhanced my adaptability, cultural awareness, and problem-solving skills, which I bring to every professional opportunity. Currently, I am in the process of applying for roles in financial services, where I aim to leverage my analytical expertise and people-first approach to make a tangible impact. I look forward to connecting with professionals in the industry to share insights and explore opportunities for collaboration.
