I am a commercial litigator and registered patent lawyer at Baker McKenzie in Houston. My practice focuses on disputes where intellectual property and technology are central to the problem.I represent companies in-Patent litigation and related PTAB proceedings-Trade secret, confidentiality, and unfair competition disputes-Complex commercial litigation with a technology or IP componentI handle matters in federal and state courts and before administrative tribunals, and I work closely with in house teams from early case assessment through discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial or arbitration. I enjoy helping clients spot IP and technical issues early in what might look like a standard commercial dispute and then building practical strategies that fit the business.Alongside my core IP and commercial work, I have supported teams on matters that involve data privacy and cybersecurity issues, and I am continuing to build experience at that intersection as opportunities arise.Based in Houston, I work with clients across sectors, including technology and financial services, and I am increasingly interested in matters where IP and technology intersect with energy and other Houston centered industries.I am also intentional about business development and relationships.
