The goal of my PhD in Cognitive Science is to understand the cognitive biases and psychological factors that hinder variety in food choice and the consumption of fruits and vegetables, and to diminish their impact with real-world interventions. Specific objectives of the project -To determine how social norms are processed by individuals and the different cognitive biases in such processing that can unknowingly guide eating behavior- To investigate differences in these influences depending on profile and/or disordered eating- To design and implement interventions to encourage young people to engage in healthy food choice.
