View department →

Boise, ID, US

Working to expand the resources for scientists and conservationists so that they may save birds of prey worldwide. Committed to finding innovative ways to connect the work of the biologists to the general public. Inspiring donors to partner with us for world wide preservation opportunities - saving raptors and their habitats.I work in collaboration with the Vice President of Development and the Development Team to create and implement strategies for expanding the scope of donor acquisition, asking for gifts, donor engagement and ongoing donor stewardship with a focus on multi-year unrestricted gifts to support global conservation. In this role, I also develop and draft protocols and procedures for donor engagement, legacy giving, board stewardship, and donor stewardship. Also focusing on developing, managing, and building strong relationships with a portfolio of qualified global major and principal gift donors interested in expanding the scope of our conservation work. I also strive to find opportunities for donors to receive recognition and experience stewardship to increase future giving. I am more than capable of featuring the programs of The Peregrine Fund in detailed terms for both the public and in private interviews. Additionally, I work directly with the VicePresident of Development to craft a strong scope of work to not only meet annual goals, but also prepare for larger transformational gifts. Utilizing The Peregrine Fund’s donor database on a rolling basis to track donor engagement, asks, gifts, and to manage opportunities.I am also responsible for creating donor travel opportunities to field sites to experience the work of our teams directly.
