I am a Senior Quality Specialist with extensive experience in the Medical Device Industry. I implement quality management systems in small and medium size companies (250 to 500 employees) to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements to achieve certification. This certification ensures that companies maintain global standardized requirements. I have extensive experience in developing internal audit programs in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. The audit program monitors the suitability and effectiveness of the quality management system. My discoveries have been presented to senior management and have eliminated major FDA and ISO non-compliances.I lead supplier audits to ensure the supplier complies with company standards and requirements.(External Audits)I hold CQA and CQE certifications courses for the San Diego and Palomar ASQ Sections. These courses run 10 to 15 weeks and are held twice a year. Each course has approximately 5 to 10 students. With my unique teaching methods, my student’s certification pass rate is over 90% for the past 15 years.I am currently the ASQ Palomar Chair (President). Our section approximately 300 members and is dedicated to advancing quality into local industries.
