As a Project Assistant, I support the Representation in Politics Portfolio, focusing primarily on the TransformNorms fellowship. My role involves- Project Coordination: Collaborating with project managers to plan and coordinate sessions, meetings, and events while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders- Communication Support: Designing and disseminating key communication materials on gender equality and social norms, managing social media content, and creating newsletters for various audiences- Impact Measurement: Assisting in tracking engagement, conducting data analysis, and visualizing findings to measure project impact- Research Contributions: Supporting research efforts on topics such as social norms around women political leaders and violence against politicians, including conducting interviews and data analysis.I am committed to fostering inclusive politics through proactive collaboration, strong organizational skills, and a participatory approach. My goal is to contribute to the growth and impact of the Better Politics Foundation while enhancing our network of partners and stakeholders.

ABOUT DORA CAVALCANTI EHRLICH

I am a Project Assistant at the Better Politics Foundation and a candidate at the Master of Public Policy programme at the Hertie School in Berlin. At Hertie, I specialize in Public Policy Analysis, focusing on critical issues such as gender inequalities, LGBTQ+ rights and climate change, while honing my skills in social psychology, M&E, qualitative analysis, data analysis and communication.Previously, I studied Public Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, where my thesis explored the impact of young women environmental activists. In 2021, I co-authored an article on Recife\'s climate change policy, followed by a publication on reproductive health in Diadema/SP during my scholarship at FGV.I believe that representative politics is key to fostering equal opportunities for all, and I am passionate about exploring how government initiatives can create environments where everyone thrives. I’m eager to connect with professionals working on gender equality, representative leadership, and transformative politics.
