ABOUT DORA XIYUAN LIN
I am a Social Equity and Community student fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, double majoring in Political Science(with a concentration in International Relations) and Gender, Sexuality, and Women\'s Studies while minoring in Law and Society. Born and raised in Fuzhou, China, and having immigrated to Connecticut when I was 12, I am passionate about empowering marginalized women and immigrants and leveraging the law to advocate for vulnerable communities. My experiences as a Stanford Law Scholar and a member of the inaugural Gender Justice Youth Council at the National Women\'s Law Center showed me the endless possibilities that come with a legal education and the power of the people. As an aspiring lawyer, I hope to use my J.D. to help people from backgrounds like mine and continue my mission for gender equity. I am particularly interested in education, immigration, and family law.
