ABOUT DORA V.

I am passionate about gender justice, human rights, and health equity, recognizing that healthcare and opportunity should be accessible to all, regardless of gender. My journey spans advocacy, community development, and now manufacturing, where I contribute as a Manufacturing Technician at Johnson & Johnson, ensuring the production of high quantity healthcare products that make a real impact. With a Master’s in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, earned as a Chevening Scholar, I’ve studied how gender influences health outcomes and why inclusive policies matter. This knowledge shapes my work both in the corporate sector and in my broader advocacy efforts.Beyond my role at J&J, I co-founded an NGO in Kenya that supports women and children who have survived gender-based violence, working to provide them with safe spaces and essential resources. Additionally, I volunteered with UNV, contributing to SDG 5 (Gender Equality) through research and data-driven initiatives with UNDP.I’m always eager to connect with like-minded individuals working at the intersection of health, gender equality, and social impact—let’s collaborate!
