Our tours are both active and cultural, with an extreme focus on interacting with local communities.Through our experienced guides, we provide the ultimate adventure experience: safe, thrilling, and once in a lifetime. Our guides are well prepared, knowledgeable, experienced, and ready to answer questions or offer guidance.One of our most popular expeditions is a Trek to Everest base camp, which takes even the most novice climber on a strenuous but friendly exploration of Nepal’s magical Khumbu region, allowing for close-up views of dozens of Himalayan giants without the dangers and technical requirements of an actual summit.Embark is a socially-conscious company, working with nonprofit groups and foundations to help improve the lives of people we work with and visit. We believe that travel changes people - and therefore the world - for the better. We believe in paying fair wages and supporting the people and the environments where we travel, as we invest money back into these communities and support local nongovernmental organizations.Embark specializes in adventuring for a cause, whether it’s a Kilimanjaro climb for charity or a Patagonia trek to raise awareness.
