My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities- Produce, film, write, edit, and voice comprehensive news packages for newscasts and the web- Deliver live reports on critical local events and issues, maintaining a strong on-air presence- Cultivate a robust network of sources, including experts, law enforcement, and community leaders- Collaborate on news stories with statewide and national exposure, featured on CBS and Gray TV affiliates- Specialize in data-driven storytelling to simplify complex topics and engage broad audiences- Serve as a fill-in anchor when needed- Draft and review public records requests meticulously- Conduct extensive online research and court record searches- Key accomplishments include- Prompting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to aid a Green Beret in need of treatment for toxic burn pit exposure- Uncovering wrongdoing by a home contractor, leading to an indictment- Exposing the state\'s mismanagement of a prison escape- Motivating city officials to assist citizens, including helping a homeowner recover her mistakenly foreclosed home.
