About Donna Sinar
Independent consultant working with NGOs, funders, and the private sector to mobilize resources for systemic change. My work in strategic programming and communications, grantmaking, and fund development is centered on inclusive and trust-based practices. I use feminist approaches to guide projects, drive strategy, and foster collaborations. Early in my career, I led anti-trafficking efforts at the pioneer, survivor-led anti-trafficking organization, The SAGE Project. My work at SAGE has informed all my work: those at the center of systems of oppression(s) are best suited to lead solutions. Since, my work is dedicated to moving capital - social, human, and, of course, financial - toward those at the center leading the charge. For the last decade, I\'ve consulted with global organizations supporting women and girls in underserved and emerging economies. Recently, I built out a multi-million corporate philanthropic fund supporting infant and maternal health and nutrition with partners across three continents, generating systemic change. Currently, my consulting is anchored at Social Capital Partnerships where I support some of the U.S.\'s largest nonprofits with their communications and funding strategy. Overall, I am a generalist who gets sh*t done. I believe we live in abundance and that work and joy are not mutually exclusive. Let\'s collaborate!
