About Donna Kastner

Futuristic, Ideation and Activation are Gallup signature strengths running throughout my career. While my career path has been described by some as eclectic including sales, marketing and a few kitchen-table bootstrap start-ups, the one constant thread has been my ability to transform ideas into action and in time, positive impact. Since 2009, I\'ve enjoyed my best role yet, serving as champion for the age 60+ crowd, a population that\'s growing quickly and navigating new challenges to solve and new opportunities to seize. Funny, but I was only 52 when I launched Retirepreneur, a side hustle gig where I helped executives segue from tradition job to flexible part-time gigs. Later, as a Del Mar Encore Fellow with The Dayton Foundation, I supported a dozen communities in Greater Dayton as they advanced through the AARP Livable Communities program.While great progress has been made, there\'s still so much more to do. Hence the launch of Age Well Dayton, a dynamic hub where these innovation conversations can continue and flourish. With events, podcasts, publications and more, our mission is to help enrich aging journeys for all generations. BIO:Donna is Managing Director at Age Well Dayton, a dynamic hub where she\'s connecting the age 60+ segment with insights and resources to help them age more gracefully. As a champion for happy and healthy aging, she\'s producing podcasts, publications and events to help modern elders (and their families) connect the dots faster and better. Previously, as a Del Mar Encore Fellow with The Dayton Foundation, Donna was instrumental in launching and growing the Miami Valley Age-Friendly Network, which now includes fifteen communities.
