I am an accomplished SCMP designated Supply Chain professional with extensive experience in negotiating contracts for both materials and services, managing RFPs for Categories and subcontractors, and prequalifying vendors to work on our sites. I have supervised a team of Category Specialists, Contract Specialists and buyers, and worked with them to measure and manage the performance of our vendors and the relationships between our company and our vendors. I have worked on implementation teams for ERP software, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and Lean Management. I trained my staff to use BOM\'s, MRP, and worked with IT to set up a parts book with PFEP (plan for every part). I created Standard Operating Procedures for our Supply Chain Department to help support our customers better, and created metrics to measure the performance of our vendors and our department. I have also created Procurement Plans to help our Specialists forecast what will be needed for our projects, in order to support the Project Management and EHS divisions better.I am a journeyman electrician, but have worked in the Supply Chain field for the last 24 years.
