Donna is currently responsible for developing \"straight-line\" and value-based relationships directly with employer groups For Beaumont Health System, now Corewell Health. This includes management of the overall health and financial performance an employer groups\' at risk population. She is also responsible for creating infrastructure and coordinating activities across the enterprise to support value-based, and at-risk programs. Previously, Donna was an independent consultant where she provided a broad array of client services, such as, strategic planning, healthcare operations specifically focused on value-based/risk programs, self-funded health plan management, interim leadership/management, and data analytics.Prior to that, Donna managed the team that supported state wide collaborative relationships between the Physician Organizations in Michigan and the Value Partnerships division while at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.Before to relocating to Michigan, Donna served as the System Vice President of Quality and Safety for Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, LA. Donna has a BS in Microbiology from Michigan State University. She received her Masters in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University. Donna has also served as the Associate Administrator for Performance Improvement at Slidell Memorial Hospital located in Slidell, LA and was an Associate Administrator specializing in quality improvement with Tenet Healthcare Corporation.Specialties: Value based/risk based program optimization and operations, contracting, P/L management, strategic planning, change management, clinical quality improvement, process improvement, population health and data and claim analytics, health plan management, risk management, regulatory accreditation, healthcare policy, medical home certification.
