ABOUT DONNA PREECE-JONES

Hi, I\'m Donna. I\'m passionate about enabling people to take charge of their well-being creatively, and I\'m a professional Creativity and Well-being facilitator. I\'ve run businesses and social enterprises and had a thriving career in teaching, business, and personal development. Unknown to me then, I struggled with my mental health for years. I also suffered a mental breakdown in 2019. It was a new stigma in my life; I thought I would never be the same again… Since then, I\'ve been able to turn this into the most positive thing that happened to me. I started the Donna Preece Academy [the DPA] in 2021; it consists of myself and a wonderfully supportive group of creative and well-being collaborators and partners. The DPA consolidates my creative experience, understanding, and lesson learning and creates a pragmatic educational legacy to support people in their times of need. I couldn\'t find this type of support when I needed it the most—activities where practicality, connection, well-being, and compassion are woven into everything. At the DPA, I challenge perceptions and integrate creativity and well-being to create effective learning and growth. We make well-being and personal development education politely personal, honest, unintimidating and practical. It\'s a potent and effective cocktail support.
