ABOUT DONNA MURRAY
I am a water quality modeller - working out how much pollution is in a river and if it is a problem how can it be fixed. Looking at the whole river ecosystem and how we use the resources of water sustainably is the dream. The reality is looking at GIS catchment models and investigating catchments where there are pollution problems. Report writing, spreadsheets and software testing all make up my work day. At WRc plc Innovation is the buzz word that won\'t go away and we work across the Water Industry to develop ideas and inventions.My children are learning about nature around us in Chippenham, Wiltshire and where I grew up in Cheddar the Mendip Hills, Somerset. For us holidays were Mum\'s home county of Yorkshire for bracing coasts and moorlands. Then on my Dad\'s side visiting South Wales and especially the Porthcawl beaches. ice cream sundaes.
