   Director of Corporate Tax for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), an integrated health care delivery system. UPMC is a $20+ billion global health enterprise with more than employees headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The system operates 40 academic, community and specialty hospitals. UPMC has over 125 tax-exempt entities and over 100 for-profit entities, structured as domestic partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies as well as foreign corporations and partnerships. The operations include acute care hospitals, psychiatric and rehabilitation hospitals, retirement and long-term care facilities, cancer treatment facilities, clinical and academic physician practices with more than employed physician, community medical and surgical facilities and services, other specialized provider services, and an insurance division that includes commercial, Medicare, Medical Assistance and workers’ compensation products and services with more than 3.4M members. Domestically, UPMC has operations in over 30 states. UPMC currently has international operations in the Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, China and Croatia.Over 40 years of experience in the health care industry. The Corporate Tax department of UPMC is responsible for all tax matters for all UPMC entities. Have held various finance-related positions within the UPMC system. Received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Duquesne University, a Masters in Taxation from Robert Morris University, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, and a Masters in Law with a concentration in health care and business law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
