Don Munoz is a senior healthcare revenue cycle executive with more than 25 years of experience leading operational strategy, client delivery, and technology-enabled transformation across complex healthcare environments.Currently serving in a leadership role at R1, Don brings deep expertise across the full revenue cycle — including patient access, health information management (HIM), and accounts receivable — enabling organizations to improve financial performance while strengthening operational alignment and patient experience outcomes.Prior to joining R1, Don held national leadership roles at Conifer Health Solutions and Tenet Healthcare, where he served as National Director of Patient Access Management. In this capacity, he led the development and execution of enterprise go-to-market strategies supporting front-end hospital operations across Tenet’s national footprint. His work helped align operational delivery with growth strategy, positioning revenue cycle functions as key drivers of organizational performance.Earlier in his career, Don held leadership and advisory roles with Deloitte Consulting, Capgemini Ernst & Young, Zimmerman & Associates, UT Houston Health Science Center, and CHRISTUS Health. This cross-sector experience — spanning providers, payors, and revenue cycle support organizations — has given him a comprehensive understanding of the financial and operational ecosystems that shape healthcare delivery.Having built his career across all major segments of the revenue cycle, Don is known for bringing an integrated, systems-level perspective to solving industry challenges.
