About Don Moss
I co-lead an industrial real estate and economic incentives strategy team of five dedicated professionals in partnership with Grant Miller. We serve manufacturing, logistics, and industrial companies across the United States. I serve as a Vice Chair in the Colliers Charlotte office and as Vice Chair of the Incentives Practice Group at Colliers. My work spans industrial acquisition and disposition, site selection, development advisory, and the structuring and negotiation of state and local incentive programs.In partnership with @Grant Miller, we bring more than 50 years of combined experience advising clients on complex location decisions and industrial real estate transactions. Together, we have supported projects representing more than 50 million square feet, over acres, and more than $1 billion in aggregate project value nationwide. Our clients range from middle-market manufacturers to globally recognized companies, and our role often extends from early location strategy through execution and delivery.We routinely help clients anticipate and address challenges before they become constraints. This includes identifying and forecasting risks related to site readiness, workforce skill availability and scarcity, infrastructure design and capacity, property tax exposure, CFIUS considerations for foreign-owned companies, and the availability and timing of economic incentives.My experience includes advising companies across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations. Representative clients include Gildan, Oerlikon, Standard Aero, Continental, Kennametal, Mitsubishi Materials, Thyssenkrupp, Imperial Dade, and others.Our team supports clients with:• Multi-market and single-market site selection• Build-to-suit strategy, transaction structuring, and construction procurement• Industrial acquisition, disposition, leasing, and transaction management• Capital markets sale-leaseback strategy• Tenant representation and network optimization• Risk mitigation and execution planning• State and local government incentive procurementAcross a wide range of projects, our team helps industrial companies make confident, well-informed real estate and location decisions.I’m a native North Carolinian and maintain residences in Charlotte and Boone.
