ABOUT DONJANEA WILLIAMS
Dr. Donjanea Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has worked with evaluation projects for suicide prevention grants, college wellness initiatives, mental health programs (counseling center, court programs), internship and college student retention programs, as well as K-12 school improvement and math and science programs. She has published research in the area of career development and employment. Her research experience includes: literature review writing, evaluation planning, project management, development of instruments (surveys, interviews), data collection and analysis (qualitative, quantitative) and reporting. She also managed daily operations of a federally funded three year,$300K suicide prevention grant program under the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).Donjanea has clinical experience in college and workplace mental health. She has worked as a university counselor for nearly 7 years and has academic training and work experience in employee assistance. She was an intern counselor in multiple employee assistance program settings including universities, hospitals, city governments and private practice. Donjanea has been a board member of the Georgia Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) for the past 6 years, has served on the EAPA Social Media Taskforce and is a former EAPA conference presenter. Donjanea has an Ed.D. degree in Counseling and Supervision, Ed.S. in Counseling and M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of West Georgia.
