My responsibilities include, but not limited to, the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the PA Cyber voice and data network utilized to connect to our in-house datacenter, cloud datacenter, multiple offices across Pennsylvania and multiple cloud solutions used for the education of over students. Primary duties include working closely with the Systems Engineer and managed service provider (MSP) to ensure a secure, and stable network environment that includes LANs, WANs, Wireless/WIFI, and remote access technologies. Leads efforts to protect internal network assets with advanced firewall and network security solutions ensuring optimal uptime and a secure, stable environment. Routinely conducts research, develop and oversee project plans, and evaluate emerging network and communication technologies.
