About Dongbin Fu
With over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, I am a passionate and skilled autonomous driving software engineer. I specialize in developing prediction and motion planning models for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) using C++, MATLAB, Simulink, and other tools. I am currently working with Qualcomm, one of the world\'s leading wireless technology innovators, to create a next-generation ADAS platform that can enhance safety and efficiency on the road.In my current role, I have improved prediction on intersections at urban scenarios, enhanced the simulation platform to support non-vehicle objects and complex movement, and designed unit tests and component tests in google test with test fixtures. I have also built system tests in ASTAS for real time simulation, and conducted reviews of libraries utilized in the project, aligning them with ISO-26262 ASIL-B standards. Additionally, I have served as the scrum master to create a development plan following Agile methodologies. Prior to joining Qualcomm, I worked as a control engineer at Arriver and Veoneer, where I developed motion planning models in MATLAB/Simulink for L2 eyes on hands off highway pilot ADAS products. Through these experiences, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in the fields of autonomous driving, control engineering, and software development.
