About me I’m a passionate and motivated Clinical Data Manager with a strong academic background in biotechnology and biomedical sciences, complemented by hands-on experience in clinical research. My journey began with a degree in Biotechnology, followed by a Master’s in Biology applied to Biomedicine. During this time, I had the opportunity to work on two research projects in Portugal that shaped my work ethic: attention to detail, autonomy, and adaptability became key pillars of my professional mindset. These early experiences also taught me the importance of continuous learning, effective communication, and teamwork — essential skills in clinical research, where collaboration and precision directly impact study outcomes. My interest in clinical trials deepened after completing a post-graduate Master’s in Molecular Biomedicine, which introduced me to the world of clinical research. I started as a Study Coordinator at the Infectious Diseases Department in Pisa, and continued to enhance my knowledge through accredited training programs, including “Missione CRA” and “Missione CRA Advanced”. Currently, I’m working as a Clinical Data Manager at Opis srl, where I manage multiple databases, perform data cleaning and validation checks, standardize medical coding (MedDRA/WHO-DD), and support cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and high-quality data delivery. I also collaborate with statisticians to support statistical analysis plans and help optimize timelines and workflows. What drives me is the desire to grow professionally in the field of clinical research, with a strong focus on data integrity, continuous improvement, and collaboration. I’m always looking to expand my skill set, contribute to impactful projects, and support teams in delivering high-standard outcomes for patients and science. I’m enthusiastic about connecting with professionals and organizations who share a passion for innovation, ethics, and scientific progress.
