Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with strong self-motivation and positive attitude. During my academic studies, I have developed an excellent eye for detail, a good team-working ability, problem-solving and leadership skills. I am an open-minded, dynamic and flexible, goal-oriented and ambitious guy. At present, I am a Research Fellow at the Machine Design Group of UCLV. Since my Master thesis working period, my study and research activities have dealt with: tests and simulation of Low Velocity Impacts (LVIs) on complex composite structures; development of an established predicting Finite Element (FE) model for the simulation of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems applied to composites; development of a numerical procedure based on Design of Experiment (DoE) to investigate the effects of composite material properties variability on guided-waves propagation; development of an established FE model for the simulation of the crashworthiness capabilities of a full-scale 95% composite made fuselage section of a civil aircraft under vertical crash loading condition.
