As a high school principal at Hmong American Peace Academy, I lead and transform the education of over 500 students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I have over 15 years of experience in educational administration, curriculum and instruction, and staff development, with a focus on creating and sustaining a culture of excellence, equity, and innovation. I am passionate about building the leadership capacity in those around me, and empowering them to achieve their full potential. I collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of the school\'s vision, mission, and goals. I also leverage my expertise in mathematics and business to enhance the academic and career readiness of our students, and to connect them with multiple post-secondary pathways.
