ABOUT DONALD EIDE

I have a lot of experience in substantive decarbonisation and renewable energy generation projects whilst I was a Global Energy Engineer for a FTSE 100 company. Some of my key highlights- Recommending, project managing and implementing deep decarbonisation projects based on my GHG data analysis. Multiple 6-7 figure projects included- Air source heat pump installations for process heating and space heating through HVAC systems- On-site solar generation projects- Software programme lead and system administrator for many Energy Management Systems software packages across factories globally. I continuously monitor and analyse live performance data to optimise energy and manufacturing processes- Greenhouse gas accounting, carbon footprinting, net zero, and carbon reduction planning for large FTSE 100 businesses with multiple factories globally.I presently work at Ofgem as a Senior Electrical Engineer where I contribute to the engineering teams\' technical recommendations for the TOs and DNOs engineering submissions, which totals multiple GWs of installed capacity at substations at costs of hundreds of millions of pounds.
