Exemplary service to clients has always been of paramount importance to me. Keeping and maintaining a client is every bit as important as getting a new one. I was determined to start a company that placed a very high value on the people that worked for it. We strive to create an atmosphere that encourages individuals to be entrepreneurial and figure out solutions for themselves rather than just go through workflows that someone else decided for them. Giving people the power to shape their own destinies is best for the client, the company and the individuals who work for Platypus. Our success shows in the very high retention rate of our clients - over 92%- which is unheard of in our industry. Our success streams from our mantra that we must make our clients more money than we cost them or they will not stick around.

In all my years of making sales, I’ve found that the more real you are with someone, the more they enjoy listening to what you have to say. I spent some time doing research projects for an Arizona venture capitalist. I also learned a lot about human psychology when working in Napa California to promote wineries and specific vintages of wine, culminating in the production of “Wineworks, a video guide to wine. Over two decades ago, I started a video production company in the US. In 2014, I was traveling to the Philippines without any intention of starting a business in the country. I had the privilege to see the kind of talent and the tremendous potential there was. I met some people and wanted to give them jobs. Not just a job, but the camaraderie, security, benefits, and a work environment where nobody had to compromise oneself or one’s principles. And that’s how we grew into Bloop. A company culture sprouted from that kernel. A culture that we have been nurturing since.
