Conduct team member relations investigations, analyze organizational issues, and work in partnership with HR leadership to develop and execute plans to address problem areas. •Guide, train, and direct business partners on the execution of HR policies and processes •Ensure appropriate legal (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) and organizational compliance, including conducting compliance audits. •Use positive and professional business practices to effectively resolve various Team Member concerns regarding grievances, Team Member complaint resolutions, CBA interpretations, Company policy interpretations, etc, with appropriate internal and external business partners. •Assist and participate in preparation and communications for labor negotiations and/or the preparation and communications for union-free activities. •Serve as an advocate for our Team Members and works to resolve Team HR related questions and issues. •Provide counseling and direction to team members, facilitate communication, and help resolve conflicts that impact employee engagement. •Assist in implementing the organization’s performance management process through coaching, educating, and providing feedback at the District and Store levels. •Maintain knowledge and awareness of all federal, state, and local labor and wage and hour laws. •Manage adverse background checks.
