About Donald Ulrich

After working for CH2M HLL for 41 years, I retired. Upon retirement I decided to take on several new assignments. My current work includes serving on the Independent Engineering (IE) team for the $2.1 billion Eagle Public Private Partnership project in Denver for the firm Omni Strategies. The IE team is responsible for certifying that the project is ready for revenue operations and that the concessionaire (Denver Transit Partners) has fulfilled its contract responsibilities for final completion. I am also assisting LS Gallegos on Project Management Oversight (PMO) assignments and serving as a Value Engineering Team Leader for transportation projects. During my career at CH2M HILL, I served as a Vice President and senior project manager, and was the Transit and Rail Discipline Manager for Planning and Environment. For 7 years I also served as the Area Manager for CH2M HILL\'s Denver Office and Corporate Headquarters. My project work included public process, planning, environmental management, economics, and feasibility studies. At CH2M HILL I personally managed over $150 million (consulting fees) in high-visibility projects including some of the most controversial projects in the Rocky Mountain west. One formative element of my career was to lead over 300 value engineering studies of major infrastructure project in North America.
