I started my career in aviation in the United States Navy and then continuing at Honeywell. I enjoy aviation. Who wouldn\'t? It is fascinating but also very rewarding. What we do matters. The job will be completed right and correct because lives depend on it. I have also been successful in training staff and brining the individual up to the standard that they need to be at because I have a knack for inspiring them to be better. There is enjoyment leaning something new. With more than 20 years of experience in diverse aviation environments, I built a strong and diverse foundation for driving strategies and delivering solutions. Whether handling maintaining or servicing aircraft engines in commercial and general aviation, I acknowledge the challenges and collaboration required to accomplish goals. It’s an art to leverage a team\'s mixed abilities to achieve the best results in performance, efficiency, and safety. I welcome that daily challenge because I believe in the importance of forming strong teams and seeing the big picture. That\'s why I am a team player, collaborator, and leader. While the organization may grow and the teams may change, my focus remains grounded in people. I look forward to many more years in this industry. A few accomplishments I\'m proud of include: • Amplified production of 131-9 APU assembly line producing six engines per day to 30 engines per week for Boeing/Airbus by designing an efficient workflow.• Avoided $1M in defective product loss and repair cost by solving a packaging issue while working alongside the supplier at Honeywell.• Brought the APU for the aircraft A 350/HGT 1700 into production and producing engine as planned.• Attained on time delivery for the Large APU line for Honeywell.• Achieved evolving cell/shift/plant goals and objectives by coaching staff using a situational leadership style.
