Don Williams is Professor Emeritus of Economics at Kent State University. He is a labor economist with research in the areas of life and job satisfaction, labor market dynamics, and determinants of wage and employment differentials. Previous positions at Kent State have included acting director of the Global Management Center, economic department chair, associate dean in the College of Business, and dean of the Honors College. He has led curricular development and change and increased student participation in high-impact activities. Williams developed the International Business Experience and European Economic Issues study abroad courses in the College of Business and has been active in developing international partnerships with Universities in Europe and Asia.
