Based on Maersk Viking, a 7th generation Drillship on various drilling contracts worldwide working on Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) for clients• Responsible for the safe and continuous Dynamic Positioning (DP) operation of plant and equipment• In overall charge of the Technical Department, improving the safety and efficiency of the drilling operation • Responsible for all high voltage maintenance, repairs and lockouts carried out within the department, ensuring that correct procedures are followed• Responsible for operational and maintenance budgeting and control• Responsible for the safe and continuous Dynamic Positioning (DP) operation of plant and equipment• In overall charge of the Technical Department, improving the safety and efficiency of the drilling operation• Serves as Project Manager for all modifications and between well maintenance activities• Responsible for maintenance and safe operation of all WCE (well control equipment) and systems including BOP, IBOP and valves
