My primary job is managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of nine work groups totaling over 200 technicians in various electrical, mechanical, electronic, communications, and computer equipment on board a Nuclear Aircraft Carrier at sea. Throughout my career, the key to success has always been tied to active communication, teamwork, and the ability to work through adversity and difficult problems without giving up. I am highly team-oriented and enjoy collaborative efforts where I work with talented people to achieve a common goal. When charged with leading projects, empowering my team members and giving them the ability to think through problems and make their own decisions dramatically contributes to their buy-in when working towards a common goal. I am very comfortable working in challenging and high-demand scenarios and enjoy getting dropped into difficult situations where my skill set enables me to communicate effectively up and down while thinking on my feet through multiple scenarios to find the most effective solution to a given situation. As a technical and certified master instructor of the Navy\'s Enlisted Leadership Development curriculum, I am passionate about effective first-line leadership and ethical decision-making relating to the business environment. I am keenly interested in positions that allow me to continue to teach in any capacity. My ideal job is working in a mixed office/industrial environment with up to 30% travel and the ability to continue managing large projects while collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals.I am still open and excited about whichever way the next adventure pushes me.
