I help investors access a new source of alpha—hidden gems in short duration credit.Finding the right fit—whether in life, career, or investing—takes patience and persistence. My journey to Intrepid Capital wasn’t the most straightforward, but every challenge added something valuable. Today, I’m helping others find their own right fit by connecting clients with Intrepid’s distinctive approach to investing.I’m a military kid and Navy veteran. Drawn to the tradition, camaraderie, and the challenge of serving something bigger than myself, I launched my military career at the U.S. Naval Academy. But less than two years after graduating I received a multiple sclerosis diagnosis—a life-altering moment that forced me to rethink everything. That unexpected detour opened doors I never could have imagined.After the Navy, I earned my MBA at Jacksonville University. I built a career in revenue-generating roles across industries—startups, nonprofits, and national companies—while also cultivating a wide-ranging network of relationships that became the foundation of what I do today.As the Vice President of Investor Relations at Intrepid Capital, I thrive on building authentic connections—listening, understanding, and ensuring our investors receive nothing less than exceptional communication from our firm to theirs.We’ve helped clients- Identify under-the-radar short duration credits- Locate opportunities in areas of the markets most of the biggest firms can’t go- Invest in credits that typical bond managers don\'t focus onWhen I’m offline, you can find me running a marathon (I’ve completed the Boston Marathon 3X!), reading, or taking my daughter, Callie, and our doodle, Ellie, on walks.I\'m also deeply rooted in my local community. I am an active parishioner at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church where I serve as a lector. My wife, Kristen, and I are passionate about giving back, supporting causes like the Florida Forum, which benefits Wolfson Children\'s Hospital. We also serve as Team Captains for the annual Walk M.S. event benefiting the National M.S. Society-I share insights from our team and our approach to investing.
