About Donald Gehlert
During his career at Lilly, Dr. Gehlert led and/or participated in research teams that contributed over 20 clinical candidates to the pipeline including Strattera, the first non-stimulant medication for ADHD. He has also extensively published in the areas of neuropeptides, depression, substance abuse, obesity and addiction. He currently is CSO for MindMed, a clinical stage company working on psychiatric medications and is also CSO for Epiodyne, a discovery stage company working on compounds for pain and addiction. Specialties: Neuropharmacology, anxiety/depression, substance abuse and obesity. G-protein coupled receptors and neurotransmitter transporters. In vivo and in vitro evaluation of pharmaceuticals.
