About Donald Gearhart

A swiss-army knife of IT skills and experiences, I\'ve found I\'m driven by the opportunity to solve a complex problem regardless of the technology involved. I thrive in situations where I\'m given a challenge to learn a new skill or technology and apply it. In an ideal role, I\'m working with those whose experiences I can learn from. Outside of work I can be found playing guitar, bass and singing in bands or solo in venues around Pittsburgh. I like to tinker and work on home IT labs, home automation, have a home recording setup and just generally like figuring out how things work for fun. Lately, I\'ve also been able to get involved in motorsport activities including local across as well as running several events in the 24 Hours of Lemons race series. I\'ve also got 2 shelter cats who rule the house. Areas of Focus: 1) Systems and Networks Administration 2) Desktop Administration (Jamf Pro, ConfigMgr (SCCM), Group Policy etc) 3) PowerShell and Python scripting
