ABOUT DONALD DANIELS

With aboutt 7 years of experience in the field, I am now a Security Specialist at TCS. I am open to mostly remote roles/hybrid roles in the cyber security field. Previously as a DevSecOp Engineer at B&M Retail, I am responsible for implementing and maintaining secure development practices and tools in the CI/CD pipeline, as well as conducting vulnerability testing and pentesting for iOS applications. I have extensive experience in using Swift, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Python, as well as SSL pinning, cloud security, and API security. I hold a SEC+ certification and a Diploma of Education in Software Development from Edinburgh Napier University.Previously, I worked as a Cyber Threat Hunter at KPMG and a Malware Analyst at Principle Group, where I performed various activities such as threat analysis, firewall configuration, Azure security, EDR/EPP, threat intelligence, blue and red testing, and risk and vulnerability management. I am proficient in using tools such as AlienVault, Splunk, Oracle Cloud, and Attack IQ, and I am familiar with standards such as OWASP, SANS Top 10, ISO27001, and PCI DSS. I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University and multiple certifications in cyber security.I am passionate about technicalities in cyber security and I enjoy learning new skills and tools to enhance my capabilities. I am looking for contract remote roles as well as permanent roles that offer me the opportunity to work on challenging and diverse projects in the areas of GRC, auditing, consultancy, analyst sector, etc. Preferably outside IR35 but open to inside for contracts.
