In this role, I perform several duties and responsibilities- Process worker\'s compensation claims- Work in conjunction with third party administrator to close worker’s compensation claims- Comply with all OSHA regulations including OSHA 300 log tracking and reporting- Monitor the County’s Light Duty program- Aid Human Resources on employee pre-hire tasks such as Motor Vehicle Record checks- Assign and track required safety training for employees- Assist with ergonomic assessments for employees- Help with administering employee annual audiometry screenings- Perform inspections on equipment such as First Aid Kits, AEDs, and Wheelchairs- Conduct safety inspections, site surveys, risk assessments, and emergency action drills- Construct presentations for safety topics and other risk management material.
