With over 30 years of industry experience, I Retired as the Owner and Principal of SME Response, a company that provided spill response solutions to the oil and gas and energy sector. My role was to build strategic partnerships with clients and stakeholders, and to ensure a high-quality customer experience. I leverage my extensive background in senior management and strategic roles in tier 1 organizations, such as Kellogg Canada, Maxxam Analytics, Hemmera Envirochem, and Ridgeline Canada. I am also a passionate volunteer and patient partner in the health care sector, collaborating with various organizations and initiatives to improve cancer care and research. I serve as an advisor, mentor, innovator, presenter, and budding author, sharing my insights and expertise with Alberta Health Services, Cancer Care Alberta, Canadian Cancer Clinical Trials Network, Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Canadian Cancer Society, University of Calgary, University of Alberta, and Qualisure Diagnostics Inc. I am driven by a mission to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to contribute to the advancement of science and innovation.
