About Don Whitaker
I have been working for Rehrig for over 35 years now. I started out as a programmer / systems administrator. I have over the years supported the ERP and financial systems at Rehrig. I have written numerous reports using SSRS and now power BI. I do some data base administration on the Oracle database that hosts the main ERP system. I also help with the pipelines to our data warehouse solutions. We have a data warehouse using SQL Azure as well as a separate date warehouse using Databricks. I continue to expand my SQL skills writing queries and updates to the Oracle and SQL Server instances that Rehrig has.I am currently in charge of the EDI or electronic billing for Rehrig Pacific. I am writing Boomi integrations that talk to our main ERP system and then pass that information on to our partners. We have integrations for inbound Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and outbound Invoices, Shipment Notices and Order Acknowledgements.
